Service Description
The Keystone: Algebra & Problem Solving Thursdays, 6–7 p.m. · January 7 – May 20, 2027 · 20 weeks 335 Main St, Metuchen For students in grades 9 and 10. When a few foundational math skills are missing, everything built on them feels unstable, and SAT progress stalls later on. The Keystone builds that foundation early: it covers all of Algebra 1 along with key elements of geometry. Taught by IES co-owners Arianna and Khalid or by the IES teaching staff they trained, drawing on more than 25 years of running SAT courses. How the course works The course starts with the fundamentals, from order of operations to solving equations, and climbs step by step to quadratics, right triangles and circles. Each skill is practiced until it's secure, then applied to questions written in the style of the Digital SAT, so students learn to read SAT math with confidence instead of freezing on unfamiliar wording. Classes are capped at 15 students. What's included • The Keystone online portal for class work and homework, with skill ladders that build each topic from its simplest form and give instant feedback • SAT-style practice that turns each new skill into test-ready problem solving • About two hours of homework per week, with every result visible to the teacher Bundle and save Enroll in two or three Foundations courses (The Bedrock, The Long Game and The Keystone) for a bundle discount. Call us for details. Questions? Call (732) 425-7577, or stop by during office hours on Wednesdays, 6–8:30 p.m.
